    Immediate need for a Center Manager / Adult Day Care Director – RN Mountain Empire Older Citizens Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is seeking a full-time Center Manager, with a current Registered Nurse Virginia license, to manage the daily operations of the adult day center. Must have the ability to work independently, ensure compliance with policies, procedures and standards of all federal and state governing regulations. Responsibilities include serving on the interdisciplinary team, conducts participant assessments, facilitates meetings, strong role in the development and preparation of the care plans, collaboration with families and care givers, supervision of personal care aides, administrative tasks related to direct operations and Part D enrollment and disenrollment. Must have 2 or more years with the geriatric population. The center manager will join a clinical team that includes nurses, one NP and one MD. The medical team is part of a larger interdisciplinary group that works together to care for older adults with chronic illnesses who live at home and need help with activities of daily living.     Location:  Registered Nurse - PACE, Big Stone Gap, VA

    Immediate need for a Registered Nurse for Mountain Empire Older Citizens Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). RN will provide direct and indirect nursing care to geriatric patients in the medical clinic, triage after-hours calls - rotating call schedule. Administers medications, assessments, changes dressing, provides wound care as well as being a liaison between providers and patients. Documents in HER patient care delivery, condition, progress in a timely manner. Provides patient education to patients and family members. Clinic hours are 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. After-hours call rotation. Competitive salary and benefits. QUALIFICATIONS: • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and be licensed by the Virginia Board of Nursing as a registered nurse. • Must have practiced nursing in the last three years. • One or more years experience with a geriatric population • Ability to manage people in stressful, difficult and unusual situations. • Medically cleared for communicable diseases with up-to-date immunizations before engaging in direct participant contact. • Criminal history records check at hire. • Drug screen at hire. Clinical Support Services Specialist, is a full-time position within Mountain Empire Older Citizens Children’s Services Department. Will provide supportive and treatment services to primary and secondary adult victims/survivors of child sexual abuse. Must possess a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field, licensure eligible and have experience working with children and families. Must have the ability to professionally communicate with clients, parents, families and community agencies. Strong interpersonal, writing and organizational skills, experience working with families, knowledge of basic crisis intervention and counseling, knowledge of the dynamics of abuse, and understand diversity. Must possess basic computer skills. Must be flexible, non-judgmental, and be a team player. Experience in working with community agencies, including making referrals.     Mountain Empire Older Citizens Program for All Inclusive Care of the Elderly (PACE) is accepting applications for Personal Care Aides (PCA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide personal care services in the MEOC PACE Adult Day Health Center (ADHC) in Big Stone Gap, VA.

    We are seeking PCAs and CNAs who are willing to work in an Adult Day Health Care setting and have at least one year experience in caring for the frail elderly.

    These are hourly positions with the starting wage at $8.25 per hour.
